Welcome to Managing Love

Managing Love

Inspired by the most marginalized members of our domestic and international partners and friends, our approach is multi-faceted. We take pride in helping alleviate societal injustices through servant leadership.

We are currently prioritizing five key areas:

  • Developing novel policies to combat human trafficking first in the state of Virginia before pressing for new federal policy with the ultimate goal of revisiting the United Nations to pass global policy,
  • Producing social justice documentary films,
  • Mitigating the climate crisis through systemic educational programs and STEAM curriculum,
  • Promoting sustainable textiles and fair trade jewelry,
  • Expanding access to affordable housing.

Humbly deemed an expert on global homelessness, our founder Gwen Cassady has been invited to present at the United Nations twice. Presenting at the first intergovernmental dialogue on global homelessness, she helped with creating new policies to alleviate global homelessness.

Members of the Managing Love team are focusing on combatting child trafficking at the systemic level with policymakers in the State of Virginia and with a similar goal at the Federal level.

We raise awareness of pertinent social injustices through our documentary film division, Vision Forward Media.

Having received our first Dave Matthews Band BAMA grant, we launched the Kids Climate Club in 2023.

In order to combat the 2nd largest polluter after oil while providing an alternative to fast fashion, EcoChic Boutique sells sustainable apparel including bamboo, hemp, and organic cotton.

International Villas, the first net positive, passive small home community, provides for "a whole new way of living" as our founder's Harvard Civil Engineering professor described, where the Earth comes first, Community second, and Selflessness third. Our pilot program, Cville Villas, our founder's Harvard capstone, is a small home community for youth aging out of foster care who have been subjected to human trafficking.
